Frank Gehry’s Architectural Reimagination Exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao

March 1, 2025

The “Living Architecture” exhibition by Refik Anadol at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao reimagines Frank Gehry’s designs using AI. This exhibition runs from March 7 to October 19, 2025, and includes a custom soundscape by Kerim Karaoglu, featuring recordings from within the museum.

In Gallery 204, an educational space provides visitors with information about Anadol’s creative process. This exhibition is part of the “in situ” series, which showcases ambitious projects by contemporary artists in the fields of sculpture and site-specific installations.

Anadol stated that their Large Architecture Model, trained on 35 million images, will dream about the future of architecture, urban areas, and cities during the 6 months of the exhibition, using light and data as pigments. He also announced receiving the TIME100 AI Impact award from TIME Magazine and added that the collaboration between an architect and an artist can make the invisible flow of data visible.
