The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark is hosting the Living Structures exhibition, the inaugural event of the new Architecture Connecting series, which explores the evolution of architecture in response to climate change and social challenges. This series will continue until 2029, pushing the boundaries of design through innovative technologies.
This exhibition features innovative works from Jenny Sabin Studio, Ecologic Studio, and Atelier Luma, all of which integrate biological, chemical, and digital processes into architecture. Jenny Sabin has created bio-responsive structures by combining technology, biology, and mathematics. Ecologic Studio, led by Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto, focuses on bio-digital architecture and sustainable urban planning. Atelier Luma is dedicated to the development of new building materials sourced from local resources such as rice, shells, wool, and sea salt.
This exhibition runs until March 23, 2025, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to explore interdisciplinary approaches in architecture. Additionally, Archinect has published an interview with the founders of ecoLogicStudio, Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto, whose works are featured in the exhibition.
